So why not release a model with a USB-C input too?
On paper that sounds great.
No fuss, no added audio interface expense.
And dont get me wrong, the setup really is that easy here.
It sounds pretty good right out of the box too, through either connection punch in.
However, what’s less subjective is the topic of price.
The supplied pop shield fits snugly over the capsule and does its job well.
Setup via the USB-C connection couldnt be much simpler.
This model is particularly light on physical, on-mic controls.
Mic monitoring sounds great, though.
However, sound quality is a blend of science and perception.
It captures a lot of warmth and detail from a vocal source.
