Whats in the 30th Anniversary PS5 Slim Bundle?
Here’s a quick rundown of everything that you will get in the box.
Right off the bat, you have the Limited Edition PS5 Digital Edition console.
This is aPS5 Slimin a special grey colorway based on the original PlayStation.
As a Digital Edition variant, this version of the console does not feature a disc drive.
It does come alongside a Limited Edition Vertical Stand though, which is a solid bonus.
You also get a Limited EditionDualSense Wireless Controller.
It comes with a special USB-C cable, modelled after the chunky looking ones found on older consoles.
That’s not everything though.
There’s also no guarantee that your chosen reseller will honor their word.
You miss out on the customer service provided by most big stores, too.

Like BestBuy, no purchasing parameters are required for the PS5 Pro or the PS5 Slim 30th Anniversary Edition.
Target’sPS5 Pro pageandPS5 Slim Anniversary Edition pageare basically identical and very stripped-back affairs.
It’s certainly simple and we appreciate no paid membership being required.
What about GameStop?
It’s also not kept behind the GameStop Pro gate.
It just looks like a standard GameStop purchase.
Will the PS5 Slim be the same if GameStop gets stock?
Unlike other retailers, GameStop doesn’t specify an exact time and lists the console as coming soon.
Elsewhere, it’s worth keeping an eye on Newegg and Antonline.
The former is sometimes good for console gaming pre-orders among its PC-focused hardware and component spread.
Will there be more stock of the 30th Anniversary DualSense?
That includes Walmart, Best Buy, Target, and GameStop, as well as PlayStation Direct replenished stock.

Many folks (including us) hoped that the 30th Anniversary DualSense controller would be stable restocked.
Sadly, that has not been the case.
We can only hope that launch day next month might bring another chance.

And yes, they do sport the same epic-ally retro theming as the rest of the 30th Anniversary collection.
Seriously, these are not to be passed on, especially if you appreciate a pop of color.
The Chroma collection consists of three chic metallic-finished colorways: Indigo, Teal, and Pearl.
These colorways are particularly dreamy and will make any setup sparkle.
This is a welcome start, even if such US bundles didn’t include the disc drive or stand.
That was pretty terrific.
This gives us hope that we’ll see more PS5 Pro bundles from retailers in the future.

Stock of this console lasted mere minutes, as we sort of predicted.
