That said, its 360 degree presentation is great for filling a room.

It also comes in a very attractive premium package, including that striking mood lighting.

Is it among thebest Bluetooth speakersout there?

Groovy baby!

I think so, though it does depend on your needs.

But it gets close.

But there are plenty of features available, mostly through the app, to make up for it.

Just as striking as its audio performance is the way it looks.

Its currently only available in one color, unlike the XO3, which is available in black and beige.

More importantly, it seems to not be available in Australia at the moment.

Whether that will change in the near future remains to be seen since its relatively new.

However, this review is coming out five months (August 2024) after the speakers initial release.

My particular favorite is the Comfort of a cozy night setting under the Ambient selection.

you’ve got the option to also adjust the lightings brightness.

This is where you might pair two XO2Ts together for a stereo experience.

Theres also an XBoom Lab selection, where it’s possible for you to play with new features.

However, it only works with theAppleMusic Library orApple Music(at least on my iPhone).

At least multipoint connectivity is available.

Ive tested and used quite a few different Bluetooth speakers and very few inspired me from a design perspective.

This one is one of the few.

Of course, it probably resembles a lamp because it is.

But, it also has an overhang that houses a downward-facing LED light.

The light can get pretty bright, though I wouldnt use it to replace anything but a nightlight.

The LG XBOOM XO2T is a purely bluetooth experience.

A little more impressive is the battery life.

Its rated as offering up to 15 hours of use.

LG XBoom XTO2 review: Sound quality

First things first, this thing can get loud!

On top of that, it stays fairly clear at higher volumes except for loud, aggressive bass sounds.

More importantly, the XO2T sounds very good.

Theres not much in the way of sub-bass, but thats to be expected.

The only place where the sound quality leaves something to be desired is in the high notes.

It does have a little more battery life and a slightly better IP67 rating.

But it will also set you back $249.99 / 249.99 / AU$349.

Should I buy the LG XBoom XTO2?

If you really want to experience hi-fi stereo sound, this is going to be a hurdle.

The second is that it has five more hours of battery life, specifically 20 hours instead of 15.

Its also slightly cheaper.
