The iPhone 16 Pro
Plus,the iPhone 17 Pro may not have the drastic redesign previously tipped.
In any case, we can look at previous pricing for possible starting prices of the other models.
Can you trust these rumors?
The iPhone 16
This would be an ultra-premium model that would sit at the top of the line.
That’s even thinner than an unfoldedSamsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Perhaps it would even accept both light and strong presses to launch different things.
We might not get a successor to the iPhone 16 Plus
That’s the middle shade in the leaked image below.
That said, we suspect all three of these are brighter than Apple would opt for.
We’ve also heard thatall four iPhone 17 models could have a 120Hz refresh rateand an always-on display.
The iPhone 16 Pro
We’ve heard this as recently as March 2025, withreputable leaker Mark Gurman saying as much.
The current-gen iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are both limited to 60Hz.
Its a claim this source (Jeff Pu) hasmade multiple times, most recently inMarch of 2025.
However, they would reportedly still offer lossless zoom at 5x and 7x by cropping the image.
We’ve also heard thatthe iPhone 17 Pro models could offer 8K video recording.
Elsewhere, another leak saysthe standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air won’t have a 5x telephoto camera.
This isn’t really surprising but it is disappointing.
This would allow you to adjust the size of the aperture, and therefore the depth of field.
So there’s a good chance those leaks will prove accurate.
They’ve now made this claim multiple times, so they seem confident of it.
We’ve also heard thatthe iPhone 17 Air might support MagSafe.
That said, we’d take this leak with a pinch of salt.
