The iPhone 16 Pro is a compact alternative to the Pro Max, with almost identical specs.
Just be aware that the battery life isn’t quite as good.

That said, they still have plenty of differences.
However, youre also getting twice as much storage.
That again is a $100 / 100 / AU$150 price difference.
They each have a flat screen with a Dynamic Island, tiny bezels, and a titanium frame.
Flip them over and theres a glass back with a large triple-lens camera block in the top left corner.
Where they do differ is in their dimensions and weights.

So theyre the same thickness, but the iPhone 16 Pro Max is bigger, wider, and heavier.
Thats no surprise, because the Pro Max also has a larger screen.
So its simply a question of size.

So its quite a versatile setup.
In our iPhone 16 Pro Max review we described the chipset as being more power than most will need.
The real test though will come withApple Intelligence, which hasnt yet launched at the time of writing.

Both phones support the same charging speeds though.
And they also support 25W MagSafe wireless charging.
